The death toll from last week's earthquake in south-west China has reached more than 51,000, officials have said.
The 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck the country's Sichuan province, one of China's most populated regions, on Monday 12 May.
Government figures show that the death toll has increased to 51,151, with 29,328 missing and around 300,000 injured.
A Chinese government spokesman said hopes of finding many people still alive were fading quickly.
About 10 million people across the Sichuan province have been directly affected by the earthquake, according to the official Xinhua news agency.
China finished a three-day period of mourning for victims of the devastating disaster on Wednesday.
