Jackpot still unclaimed

30th March 2005

Someone in the South Hams has won a fortune and doesn't realise it yet.

The winner of a £960,695 jackpot has still not come forward despite a plea by lottery bosses.

The winning ticket was bought somewhere in the South Hams area for the Wednesday March 2 draw.

The number 3,6,15,16,33 and 48 came up and the winner has until August 29 at 5.30pm to make a claim.

If he or she does not come forward, the cash will be lost altogether to charitable good causes.

Camelot says it is not unusual for lottery winners to fail to check their tickets and is urging everyone to do so.
