The opportunity to cast your vote with a difference is on offer at the first nine-day Beer Festival to be held at the Tradesman's Arms, Stokenham, from March 17-25.
Voters will be able to vote in a national competition and the 14th century, thatched pub is set to be one of the polling stations.
The Tradesman's Arms has teamed up with real ale producers across the South West, nearby, award-winning South Hams Brewery and the Cask Marque Trust to encourage cask ale drinkers to vote for their favourite tipple.
The festival will feature, on different days, a large selection of the real ales produced from across the region and the ales from South Hams Brewery include Devon Pride, Wild Blonde, XSB, Eddystone and Knickadroppa Glory.
Visitors to the festival will be able to cast their vote in a ballot box which will see their votes go forward to be counted by region to give regional champions.
Nick Abbott, Tradesman's Arms: "I love real ales and let's face it, who could resist a pint of Wild Blonde, its divine."
Nick Abbott runs the 14th Century, thatched Tradesman's Arms, together with his wife, Becks, and is looking forward to the festival.
"Publicans should be passionate about local beer,"said Nick. "There's an art in keeping real ale. It has to be kept and served at the right temperature.
"I love real ales and let's face it, who could resist a pint of Wild Blonde, its divine."
Mark Brooking runs the South Hams Brewery with partner, Quintin Style.
It was set up three years ago and is a member of the Small Independent Brewers Association.
Visitors to the festival will also be able to see the brewing process for themselves by walking down the footpath to the South Hams Brewery.
Under the direction of head brewer, Ben Ridgeon, the ales have won several awards and the Eddystone brew has won three awards in the last two years.
Brooking said: "The business has grown in the last three years, as the demand for our beers has increased.
"What could be better in a drink? It's made from fresh and natural ingredients, it’s refreshing and tastes great."
